A golden opportunity turned into a golden duck for Indian wicketkeeper Sanju Samson in the IND vs AFG 3rd T20I at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
After being ignored for the first two T20Is, Samson returned to XI for the final T20I games. The 29-year-old, who has fallen down the pecking order in T20Is after Jitesh Sharma’s arrival, had a chance to stake claim for a T20 World Cup spot with a good outing but the batter failed to grab the opportunity and departed on first ball duck.
