Mumbai Indians Women have secured their second Women’s Premier League (WPL) title after defeating Delhi Capitals by eight runs in the WPL 2025 final at the Brabourne Stadium. MI now hold the record for the most trophies in the tournament, with only RCB having won a single title in the previous season.

Under the leadership of Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians (MI) clinched the inaugural WPL title in 2023, defeating Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals (DC) by seven wickets in the final at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
In the following season, DC faced another heartbreak in the WPL 2024 final at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, where Smriti Mandhana guided Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to victory. RCB secured the championship with a commanding eight-wicket win.
Since its debut season, the WPL has featured five teams: Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Giants, Delhi Capitals, and UP Warriorrz.
