1st T20I washed out, Surya back in form

Even though the first T20I between IND & AUS at the Manuka Oval was washed out due to rain, but the good news for India is, skipper Suryakumar Yadav bounced back to form. In the rain-curtailed match, the 35-year-old scored 39 from 24 deliveries, that included three fours and two sixes.

Nitish Kumar Reddy ruled out

Owing to a quadriceps injury sustained during the 2nd ODI recently, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the first three T20Is vs Australia. He was brought into the side, owing to Hardik Pandya’s injury, but is himself injured. In the meantime, Shivam Dube is handling the all-round duties for the team.

PSL’s value going up?

In a bid to compete with the IPL, the PSL is going to introduce two new teams to the roster from 2026. PSL’s CEO Salman Naseer said, “An auction will be held for two new PSL franchises. Bidding parties will be given a pool of city names from which they can select one team.”
