The grand finale of the Delhi Premier League 2025 (DPL) was not just about West Delhi Lions lifting the trophy under Nitish Rana’s leadership but also about the glitzy post-match ceremony that followed. For over an hour, the stage at the Arun Jaitley Stadium turned into a celebration of the season’s finest performers. And unsurprisingly, Rana’s name echoed the loudest. After all, he single-handedly took West Delhi to their maiden trophy, remaining unbeaten in the entire knockouts.
Having bossed the knockouts with the bat and chipped in with the ball, Rana walked away with multiple trophies, including the prestigious ‘Player of the Tournament’. But there were plenty of other names who stamped their authority over the season. The two Orange Cap and Purple Cap holders came out as revelations from the tournament.
