India Under 19 cricket team star Vaibhav Suryavanshi added another feather to his cap recently as he became the most searched personality in India in 2025. The 14-year-old, who has had a sensational run in both domestic and international cricket in the last year, even beat the likes of Virat Kohli to become the most searched star on Google. However, Vaibhav hasn’t allowed the fame to get to his head and is firm on just focusing on the game.

Suryavanshi unbothered about being more famous than Kohli

In an interaction with the broadcaster during the ongoing U19 Asia Cup 2025, Suryavanshi said that while he does feel nice on hearing that he was the most searched personality on Google in India in 2025, he said that he doesn’t pay attention to these things, adding that his focus was only on the game.

I don’t pay attention to these things. I keep the focus on my game. Yes, I do hear about these developments, and it does feel nice. I look at it, feel good about it and then move forward. That’s about it,” Suryavanshi said.

Suryavanshi unleashed himself once again, this time against UAE in the U19 Asia Cup 2025 on Friday. The sizzling opener took the UAE bowlers to the cleaners as he breached the 150-run mark in just 8x deliveries in India’s tournament opener in Dubai. The 14-year-old’s fine form across formats of the game continues as he played yet another fine knock, a one for the ages. It took just 83 deliveries for young Vaibhav to go past the 150-run mark in the game.
