Nitish Reddy has thrown his hat for contender for the “catch of the season” award in the ongoing IPL 2024. During IPL 2024 clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 57, the young Indian talent displayed a great presence of mind to pull off a sensational grab.

Quinton De Kock, known for his rigorous pull shots, went for a big one off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The ball soared towards the boundary ropes at deep fine-leg, where Nitish Reddy was stationed. The uncapped player showed impressive composure, judging the trajectory perfectly. With a powerful leap, he managed to grab the ball above his head at the peak of his jump.
However, as he landed, he realized he was about to fall over the boundary rope. Remarkably, he flicked the ball back up in the air just before going out of bounds. Regaining his balance, he completed the catch with a sense of relief and exhilaration.
