India cricket team will keep a close eye on fast bowling all-rounders in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026), particularly on the uncapped Indian players. The hunt for Hardik Pandya’s like-for-like replacement and back-up is still on and over the years the Indian team management hasn’t managed to find a suitable option despite the enormous talent in fray in the cash-rich league. At this point of time, the nearest replacement option for Hardik is SRH all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.
From PBKS retained player Suryansh Shedge to RCB’s latest recruit Mangesh Yadav, there are quite a few fast-bowling all-rounders who will be eyeing to break into the Indian cricket team via their performances in IPL 2026. Ahead of the next edition of the tournament, let’s take a look at some of the potential candidates.
All-rounders from IPL 2026 to watch-out for
1. Aman Khan (CSK)
The right-handed all-rounder made his IPL debut way back in 2022 and has played 1 match for KKR initially followed by 11 games for DC in 2023. While he did not take any wickets, he managed to score 110 runs. Aman has decent experience in T20s, with 500 runs from 32 matches at an average of 20.83 and 10 wickets at an average of 29.80. He was last seen in action for Puducherry in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
2. Mangesh Yadav (RCB)
A useful all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh, Mangesh impressed in the Madhya Pradesh Premier League (MPL), picking up 14 wickets in 6 matches at an average of 12. He is an economical option too, having conceded just 168 runs from the 126 that he bowled in the tournament. Yadav also has the ability to strike over 200, making him an handy all-rounder option for Team India and RCB in the future.
3. Suryansh Shedge (PBKS)
A talent from Mumbai who created waves with his performances in the domestic circuit over the last 12 months or more, the all-rounder has shown promise with both bat and ball. He has 198 runs and 13 wickets from 23 T20s. in IPL 2025, he got limited opportunities for PBKS and scored just 7 runs. However, Shedge has been retained by the IPL side and will hope to get more opportunities in 2026. He has already come under the lens of the national selectors and has played for India A. A call-up to the senior team isn’t far away.
4. Arshin Kulkarni (LSG)
The 20-year-old only warmed the bench in IPL 2025 despite having immense all-round potential. In 2024, he played just 2 games for LSG. Like Shedge, Kulkarni is a promising all-rounder who has 549 runs from 21 T20s and 12 wickets. He continues to be a mainstay in Maharashtra’s team across the white-ball formats and will be hoping to get more chances in IPL 2026, in a bid to break into the Indian team.
5. Arjun Tendulkar (LSG)
Despite possessing the talent and improving over the years, Sachin Tendulkar’s son was severly underutilized by Mumbai Indians over the years. He has now been traded to LSG in an all-cash deal where he will be hoping to get more chances. Off late, Arjun has impressed with ball more than bat for Goa in the Ranji Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Talking about his T20 stats, he has 804 runs and 189 wickets from 29 T20s and averages 13.50 with the ball.
6. Arshad Khan (GT)
The left-arm all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh has played for MI, LSG and GT in the past and has 12 wickets to his name. He has been retained by the Titans for IPL 2026. Like Tendulkar, Khan boasts of a superior record with the ball than with the bat in T20s, having taken 226 wickets from 30 matches at an average of 18.83.
7. Ramakrishna Ghosh (CSK)
The Maharashtra all-rounder has been a part of the CSK camp and was retained ahead of IPL 2026 but hasn’t managed to make his debut. He has 45 wickets from 9 T20s and averages 9 with the ball. More opportunities would surely allow Ghosh to grab some limelight and possibly come under the lens of the national selectors.
8. Raj Bawa (MI)
Raj Bawa made his IPL debut with PBKS in 2022 and then moved on to MI in 2025 where he featured in just 5 matches. He has 381 runs at an average of 27.21 and 24 wickets from 25 T20s.
