The countdown to the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 has officially begun, and the excitement is already building. The 13th edition of the marquee event will be staged in India (official hosts) and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2, with eight teams vying for the most prestigious crown in women’s cricket. India, chasing their first-ever World Cup title, were the first side to announce their 15-member squad for the tournament.
There could not have been a better opportunity for Harmanpreet Kaur’s side to end India’s wait for a world title. With matches set to be played across Indian venues, the Women in Blue will enjoy the advantage of home conditions in front of packed stadiums.
