The IPL 2026 auction will begin from 2.30 PM onwards, with KKR and CSK having the most auction purse at Rs 64.4 crore and Rs 43.4 crore respectively.
InsideSport asked AI to predict the list of uncapped Indians who would attract the highest bids at the IPL 2026 auction. As per Google Gemini, the likes of Kartik Sharma, Auqib Nabi, Tushar Raheja among other uncapped Indians are set to earn expensive contracts.
1. Kartik Sharma
As per Gemini, Kartik is tipped to be the most expensive uncapped player in the IPL 2026 auction. Playing for Rajasthan in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025, the keeper-batter has 133 runs from 5 innings and boasts of a strike rate of 160.24. The finisher has earned high praise from former cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin and Aakash Chopra recently and is touted to be one of the most sought after uncapped Indian finishers in the IPL 2026 auction.
2. Ashok Sharma
Second on Gemini’s list is Rajasthan’s Ashok Sharma. He is currently the leading wicket-taker in SMAT 2025, with 20 wickets from 8 matches at an average of 13.45. With his ability to clock deliveries over 140 kmph, Sharma will be in high demand, especially for franchises like LSG, CSK among others.
3. Tushar Raheja
Another keeper-batter who is expected to attract an expensive bid at the IPL 2026 auction is Tushar Raheja. The Tamil Nadu star has 151 runs from 7 matches in the ongoing SMAT 2025 and boasts of a strike rate of 164.13. His aggressive style of batting as an opener, which we got to witness in the TNPL 2025 as well where he finished as the leading run-getter with a strike rate of over 185, will come of use for many teams like DC in IPL 2026.
4. Auqib Nabi
The Jammu and Kashmir all-rounder has been stellar and consistent in the domestic circuit across formats over the last couple of seasons. He recently appeared for trials with Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2026 auction, creating a buzz already.
5. Anmolpreet Singh
As per Gemini, the Punjab openers is another uncapped Indian player who features on the list of most expensive players in IPL 2026 auction. The Punjab batter has 264 runs from 8 innings and boasts of a strike rate of 167.08 in SMAT 2025. Anmolpreet has already featured in the IPL previously for MI and SRH, and has scored 139 runs from 9 matches. His current form makes him one of the most in-demand uncapped batters looking for a stable IPL contract.
