About Tushar Deshpande
Tushar Deshpande was born on 15 May 1995 is an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. He made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2016. He made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 19 September 2018. He took his first five-wicket haul in List A cricket in the quarter-finals of the tournament on 14 October 2018.
Career
Domestic career
Representing Mumbai in the domestic arena, Tushar Deshpande is a valuable member of the side across all three formats of the game. He has scalped more than 200 wickets across List A, First-class and T20s. He also has five 5-wicket hauls to his name with four of them coming with the red ball. Deshpande was also a part of the winning squad in the last concluded Ranji Trophy edition.
IPL career
Tushar Deshpande made his IPL debut in 2020.Tushar Deshpande has played 23 matches to date in his IPL career and he took 25 wickets , with an average of 32.76, conceding nearly 10.13 runs per over with a best individual figure of 3/45.In the IPL Auction 2024, the Chennai franchise acquired the services of Tushar Deshpande for Rs 20.00 Lac.On May 2023, he played his last IPL match against Gujarat at Narendra Modi Stadium which was also the final match of the last concluded IPL edition.
