As per reports, the ban on Russian fighters won’t allow Dmitry Bivol to compete in the WBC for another match against Canelo Alvarez. Although the Undisputed Champion is ready to take this fight, the WBC President has put this clause to prevent this fight for now. The report states Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol 2 for the super-middleweight title won’t be sanctioned now. In order to return to WBC, Dmitry Bivol would have to go through WBC’s process for exemption.

Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol: What happened the last time when Canelo Alvarez and Dmitry Bivol

Last year, Canelo Alvarez and Dmitry Bivol faced each other for the WBC Super light-heavyweight title.
