Mike Tyson has backed Canelo to beat Jermell Charlo in their upcoming clash. However, ‘Iron Man’ didn’t go off on ‘Iron’ Mike for his prediction.
On the contrary, Jermell Charlo labeled Tyson as a legend.
He said, “Mike Tyson’s Mike Tyson man. He can say whatever he wants. He’s the GOAT, a legend. It’s cool. I’ve got a lot of respect for Mike Tyson. Canelo too, he’s a legend too. I’m trying to be great.”

Canelo Alvarez eft Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Promotions to sign a multi-fight deal with Al Haymon’s PBC. He will reportedly have three bouts starting with Jermell Charlo on September 30.
Initially, several people thought Canelo would face Jermell’s elder brother, Jermall Charlo. Unlike his younger brother, ‘Hitman’ Charlo is unbeaten.
But Charlo is an undisputed super welterweight champion, a status that Canelo Alvarez holds in the super middleweight category. Hence, a fight between them would be justifying.
