FIFA WC WALES TEAM: After missing out on playing in the World Cup for 64 years, it is time for the Welsh Army to make their presence be felt on the biggest stage, as they qualified for this edition of the World Cup in Qatar. In their last appearance, they made it to the Quarter Finals back in 1958 and will be hoping to do something similar this time around.

FIFA WC WALES SQUAD: Rob Page is the Welsh Manager for this World Cup and he has been at the helm since 2020. He navigated a tough group in the Euro 2020 campaign and took them out of the group alive but eventually lost to Denmark in the Last 16 stage. The fact that they made it alive out of a group that consisted of Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey speaks volumes in itself.

Wales finished 2nd in their Qualifying group for the World Cup, behind Belgium. They were also in top form as they played in the Qualifying games, as they beat Ukraine 1-0 in the final and booked their place in the mega event.

WALES TEAM NEWS: Gareth Bale, The opus magnum for Wales. The 5-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid will be key for the Welsh team if they are to leave a dent in this World Cup.

If he can take his game up a couple of notches, then their attack will be quite a lethal one. With 75 caps to his name, Aaron Ramsey too will be an experienced head in midfield for them. His attacking and defensive contributions will be vital for them. Neco Williams, the former Liverpool left-back will be one to look out for in Qatar.

WALES Team INJURY LIST: No major absences have been announced due to injuries for Wales.

FIFA WC WALES GROUP NEWS: Wales will be sharing Group-B with the USA, England, and Iran. In all likelihood, it seems like Wales will finish in 2nd spot, barring any other surprises.

FIFA WC WALES Matches & Schedule: On 22nd November, Wales begin their tournament with a game against USA, which will then be followed by a game against Iran, and their final group stage game will be a fierce one against England on 30th November.
