FIFA WC ECUADOR TEAM: The team from South America that no South American team likes playing against, especially at Ecuador’s home. La Tricolor, as they are called, is a team that can cause an upset with the way that they play and they will believe that they can dent the chances of the other teams in Group-A and make it through the group stages.

FIFA WC ECUADOR SQUAD:  After missing out on the 2018 World Cup, the La Tricolor went under the stewardship of Gustavo Alfaro and emerged as a new team under their new manager. They would have expected to make it to Russia last time and maybe they used that disappointment as fuel to ensure they have a valid ticket to Qatar this time around.

They finished fourth in the World Cup Qualifying for South America, which also ensured that they take part in their fourth World Cup campaign. They are placed in a tricky group as all eyes will be on the Netherlands to finish 1st, while the 2nd spot will be competed for, between the rest of the teams.

ECUADOR TEAM NEWS: All eyes will be on Enner Valencia as all things point towards him starting and leading the attack for La Tricolor in Qatar. His goals will be quite vital if they are to make it out of the group.

Carlos Gruezo and Moises Caideco will be key in their midfield to ensure that things are in motion at both ends of the field. Xavier Arreaga and Pervis Estupinan will be managing their defense and will need to be on their toes to ensure things are tight at the back.

ECUADOR Team INJURY LIST: No major absences have been announced due to injuries for La Tricolor.

FIFA WC ECUADOR GROUP NEWS: Ecuador will be in the first group of the World Cup, sharing Group-A with the likes of Netherlands, Qatar, and Senegal. It won’t be the easiest task to make it out of the group but La Tricolor will believe that they have what it takes.

FIFA WC ECUADOR Matches & Schedule: They kick off the World Cup with Qatar, with that being the first game for both teams on 20th November. Then, they play the Men in Oranje, Netherlands on the 25th, followed by a game against Senegal on the 29th.
