FIFA WC CAMEROON TEAM: One of the teams that has a good shot of making it out of the group stages alive is Cameroon. While all the eyes are on the European or South American giants, the African countries do not have any of the spotlight and this could very well work out for them as they focus on their game and do their talking on the pitch, instead of off it.

FIFA WC CAMEROON SQUAD: The team that finished third in the AFCON 2021, Cameroon made a name for themselves and gave quite a fight in making the finals, but sadly, could not go to the finals or bag the trophy. Nevertheless, their outing in that competition must have given them a huge boost of confidence to perform at the same level at the coming winter World Cup.

Their World Cup Qualifying form also was in sync as apart from a solitary loss, they won their remaining 5 games and were in full control of their group. Their defense held firm and did not crumble under pressure as that was quite evident with them only leaking 3 goals in their 6 games combined. It will be about taking their chances on the other end of the pitch when those chances arrive.

CAMEROON TEAM NEWS: The team from Africa prefers to be deployed in a 4-3-3 formation as that has been their template for a while now. They do like having possession of the ball but their coach likes to be more direct than passing the ball around a lot and wants his players to make the attacking pass quicker and progress the ball to his attackers.

Choupo-Moting will be the key player for them as the forward from FC Bayern Munchen is having himself a ball of a season as he has been deployed often as a striker as the Bavarian giants have no out-and-out striker. Even Andre Onana is in good form for Inter Milan and his goal-stopping abilities will be key in Qatar.

CAMEROON Team INJURY LIST: Cameroon does not have any injuries to deal with as of now.

FIFA WC CAMEROON GROUP NEWS: Cameroon shares Group G with Brazil, Serbia, and Switzerland in the 2022 WC in Qatar this time. They have a shot at making the Round of 16 as the second place in the group is up for grabs.

FIFA WC CAMEROON Matches & Schedule: Cameroon will play their first game of the World Cup against Switzerland on the 24th of November, followed by Serbia on the 28th and their final game of the group stage will be versus Brazil on the 3rd of December.
