The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League will begin on January 9 in Navi Mumbai. The WPL 2026 Final will be played at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on February 5. Unlike last season, WPL will be confined to just two cities due to preparations for ICC T20 World Cup. In the first leg, Mumbai will host 11 matches before the caravan moves to Vadodara, which will host the remaining 11 games, including the Eliminator and the Final.

After hosting WPL in four cities in 2025, BCCI has reverted to the two-city approach due to the unavailability of venues, thanks to T20 World Cup 2026 and preparations for IPL 2026.
DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai
The Dr DY Patil Stadium, located in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a modern multi-purpose sports venue within the DY Patil University campus. Designed by renowned architect Hafeez Contractor, it features innovative elements like cantilever roofs for unobstructed views, a fabric tensile roof, and advanced facilities including floodlights, a concert-level sound system, and an air-conditioned media center.
With a seating capacity of approximately 55,000, it ranks among India’s largest cricket stadiums. Inaugurated on March 4, 2008, the stadium briefly served as the home ground for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), hosting the 2008 and 2010 IPL finals.
Over the years, it has become a key venue for domestic and international cricket, including Women’s Premier League matches and the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup final. Beyond cricket, it has hosted major football events like the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup and high-profile concerts by artists such as U2 (2019), Coldplay (2025), and AR Rahman (2025). Its versatile design and state-of-the-art infrastructure make it a premier destination for sports and entertainment in the Mumbai metropolitan region.


Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara
Kotambi Stadium, also known as the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium, officially opened on December 22, 2024. Located in Vadodara, Gujarat, it serves as the home ground for the Baroda Cricket Association and the Gujarat Titans. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 40,000 and features modern amenities designed to enhance the spectator experience.
The inaugural matches were a three-match One Day International series between the women’s teams of India and West Indies, marking a significant return of international cricket to Vadodara. The stadium is equipped with five indoor full-length pitches and 17 outdoor pitches.
Additionally, its innovative design allows for a 360-degree view of the field, providing fans with an excellent viewing experience. With a construction cost of around ₹200 crores, Kotambi Stadium is poised to become a key venue for both domestic and international cricket events in the coming years
WPL 2026 Start Time
The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League will have two double-headers on January 10 and 17, both in Mumbai. For the double headers, the first match will start at 3 PM IST, while the second match will begin at 7:30 PM IST. On single-header days, all matches will commence at 7:30 PM IST.
