Career
Domestic career
Markram debuted for the Northerns cricket team in October 2014 against South Western Districts and later played for them in the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. He served as the club professional for Walkden in the Bolton Cricket League in 2016. His standout performance earned him the Domestic Newcomer of the Year award from Cricket South Africa in May 2017. He was slated to play for Nelson Mandela Bay Stars in the T20 Global League, which got postponed and eventually canceled. Markram joined Paarl Rocks for the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament in 2018 and signed with Hampshire County Cricket Club in March 2019. His notable contribution helped Titans clinch the 2018–19 Momentum One Day Cup. He continued to make waves in T20 cricket, featuring for Paarl Rocks in the 2019 Mzansi Super League. He remained a consistent performer, earning a spot in Northerns’ squad for the 2021–22 season. Markram then played for Punjab Kings and later joined Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2022 Indian Premier League.
