Kallis has been honored with 23 player of the match awards in his 166-match career. The South African scored 13289 runs in 280 innings at an average of 55.37. He also has 292 Test wickets to his name.
The legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralidaran is second on the list of players with the most player of the match awards in Test cricket. He received 19 player of the match awards in 133 games. Muttiah is also the leading wicket-taker in the history of Test cricket. He took 800 Test wickets to his name in 230 innings.
One of the greatest left-arm pacers, Wasim Akram, was a crucial player for the Pakistani side in his playing days. He has 17 player of the match awards in 104 games. Akram claimed 414 wickets in his Test career. He also scored 2,898 runs with his bat.
