UFC 293 Predictions: Top Coaches Breakdown Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland Fight

The top coaches have tried to break down the upcoming bout for the fans to understand well, as to what may be the pros and cons for each of the fighters.

The UFC is set to visit Sydney, Australia, this weekend for the first time since 2017 with what should be a big pay-per-view.

UFC 293: Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland isn’t the strongest overall card on paper, but it should still feature some solid fights and plenty of action.

Fans weren’t anticipating the middleweight title fight that the UFC would schedule next.

Everyone would have preferred to see Israel Adesanya face Dricus du Plessis in a title defence.

Incredibly knocking out the former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker earlier this year, “Stillknocks” became just the second person, after Adesanya, to do so. More importantly, their possible bout would be big because the South African and “The Last Stylebender” already had a heated feud going.

Du Plessis was just not prepared to headline this weekend, as requested by the promotion, thus Sean Strickland has been thrust into the position.

The top coaches have tried to break down the upcoming bout for the fans to understand well, as to what may be the pros and cons for each of the fighters. Kyte before Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland’s fight decided to sit down with Chartier and asked him to break the fight style in UFC 293 and make his prediction.

Adesanya is known for being creative and landing strong strikes towards his opponent, also he is great at maintaining a safe distance and is famous for using his kickboxing skills inside the UFC octagon.

Insidesport

Whereas what Strickland has to offer inside the octagon is a bit difficult to deal with, he is a huge man with a tough and unique physique. Strickland might make use of constant pressure towards his opponent. He might not go even somewhere around 100 mph but will keep constant pressure of 65-70 mph to his opponent for nearly 25 minutes.

Adesanya can overcome this if he successfully manages distance, makes use of his good footwork, and keeps his opponent at a kickboxing range.

But Strickland can easily win the boring fight by using grappling.
