Henry Cejudo Suggests Jiri Prochazka How To Win Against Alex Pereira At UFC 295 “Your Defense.”

Cejudo identified a vulnerability that can cause Procházka some problems when facing a formidable performer like Pereira.

The initial main event of UFC 295 pay-per-view next month may have been lost, but Madison Square Garden should expect fireworks from the new duo that will take centre stage.

Following Jon Jones’ withdrawal, the initial light heavyweight co-headliner between Jiří Procházka and Alex Pereira was moved up to the main event, replacing Jones’ scheduled heavyweight defence against Stipe Miocic.

At the numbered event, scheduled on November 11 in New York City, the two outstanding strikers will square off for the vacant 205-pound title. Additionally, Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall will square off for the interim heavyweight title.

Procházka will have the opportunity to win back the title he lost due to injury about a year ago with this fight. The Czechia star has been recuperating from a dislocated shoulder ever since.

“Denisa” is hoping to continue where he left off against Glover Teixeria in June in Singapore now that he is fully recovered. To compete against the veteran Brazilian, however, one former two-division champion believes he needs to close a gap in his game.

In a video that was just posted to his YouTube account, former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo dissected Procházka’s tape and analysis.

“Triple C” knows exactly what “Denisa” has because he coached the former light heavyweight champion at Fight Ready before he was crowned at UFC 275 last year.

However, Cejudo also identified a vulnerability that can cause Procházka some problems when facing a formidable performer like Pereira.

“The technique, as good as you are with everything, there’s one area where I feel like you really need to get better at… two areas,” Cejudo said. “Your defense, with your hands. I don’t like seeing you get hit because that may cost you against Alex Pereira. Then the other thing is your takedown defense. Your takedown defense is still a little suspect.

“If there’s an area where I feel like he really needs to get better, it’s right here (technique). Particularly his defense,” Cejudo added.
