Conor McGregor Postpones UFC Return To 2024- ‘It Doesn’t’

Conor McGregor Postpones UFC Return To 2024- ‘It Doesn’t’

looks like all he stated previously, is again all talks and no show.

Conor McGregor, who hasn’t fought since 2021, will return to the octagon in 2024 to take on Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje, and Nate Diaz to complete the trilogy.

The UFC has welcomed back Conor McGregor. While attending the boxing event between Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius at the O2 Arena in London, the Irish fighter made an announcement about his return. The UFC bout between “The Notorious” (22-6) and Michael Chandler (23-8) is scheduled for December, according to “The Notorious.”

Since he suffered a terrible fracture when competing against Dustin Poirier in 2021, McGregor has been sidelined. ‘The Notorious’ had to undergo six months of anti-doping testing and have a minimum of two negative tests before he was allowed to compete again because he was excluded from the USADA testing pool, which keeps tabs on all active athletes.

The control group is not left by an active athlete who is formally registered in a US competition or circuit, but in McGregor’s case, he did so because of the anticipated length of his inactivity.

Chandler and McGregor are well acquainted. The UFC reality show “The Ultimate Fighter 31,” which Chandler’s team won, featured them as its main draw. McGregor said he will fight again in December throughout this match.

But as per the recent tweet of Notorious, it looks like all he stated previously, is again all talks and no show.

In a recent tweet, @Chamatkar Sandhu expressed his displeasure on how the fans of Combat sports will have to wait until 2024, for Conor to fight Michael Chandler. The tweet mentioned, “ Looks like we’ll have to wait until 2024

The context read the words on Conor McGregor’s words, mentioned: “ I’m ready. I wanted the announcement for December 16th but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen”.

As the tweet went viral, MMA fans voiced their own opinion on the matter, let’s look at some of the comments posted under the tweet.

Because he hasn’t been subjected to any drug testing as part of the UFC’s anti-doping programme this year, McGregor’s decision to compete in December attracted attention. However, Dana White, the president of the UFC, has shattered hopes that the Irishman will make a comeback in the cage by year’s end.
