Cristiano Ronaldo was displeased when the Al-Nassr supporters unfurled a giant tifo for player Marcelo Brozovic. Al Nassr didn’t have their finest day, but they appeared to be on their way to extending their winning streak to seven and getting within a point of the Saudi Pro League summit.
Al-Nassr’s winning streak came to an end on Friday, as they drew 2-2 at home to Abha after leading 2-0 in the first half. However, before to the game, Al-Nassr supporters bestowed a tifo on former Inter midfielder Brozovic for a great start to life in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo, who began for Al-Nassr, looked on with a sour smirk.
Cristiano Ronaldo struggled in front of goal, ending his six-game scoring streak as he wasted many scoring chances. He was involved in both goals, with a spectacular back-heel sparking Otavio’s opening only three minutes in. He did, however, miss a slew of additional opportunities.
Brozovic has played in all but one of Al-Nassr’s league games this season, missing the team’s opening day loss to Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq. In those eight games, the Croatian has one assist and has played a significant role in Al-Nassr’s recent success. They want to maintain their position close to Al-Taawoun at the top of the standings. They are presently third in the table, three points behind the leaders.
Cristiano Ronaldo will undoubtedly try to reclaim the attention after failing to score against Abha. However, he will have to wait until he returns from international duty with Portugal to do so. During the upcoming international break, they will face Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
