Ben Stokes alongside Stuart Broad, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes, and Josh Tongue were spotted at the McDonalds post their win in 5th Ashes Test.

England skipper Ben Stokes alongside veteran Stuart Broad, Zak Crawley, and Jonny Bairstow among others were spotted in McDonalds recently. The English side went to celebrate their latest win against Australia in the 5th Ashes Test played in Oval. England were trailing in the series by 2-0 but showed great character to make a comeback in the series and eventually draw it with one game getting washed out.

Chris Woakes and Josh Tongue were also spotted with the team

In the video, Stokes can be seen having a chat with Tongue. While Broad who retired from the international arena was seen ordering the food. In another video, both Stokes and Broad were seen carrying the food for their teammates as they ended their celebrations following a thrilling win over the arch-rivals.

To note, England’s trip to McDonald’s came just hours after they were accused of snubbing Australia’s offer for post-series drinks. It is known custom between both teams as they share drinks in the dressing room post series. However, the Australians claimed that they were not getting the access to join their opponents for a drink.

The matter got so heated that Stokes had to come up with a clarification on the social media platform. ‘To clarify… Our wrap took longer than expected because of multiple last time event’s. We decided to meet up in the night club rather than the dressing room.’ Stokes tweeted. However, it is still not confirmed if both teams met later in the evening or not.
