In the initial four seasons, eight franchises battled it out for the much-coveted PKL trophy. In May 2017, however, four new teams (Haryana Steelers, Gujarat Fortunegiants, Tamil Thalaivas and U.P. Yoddha) joined the Pro Kabaddi bandwagon, making the league even bigger.

Even the opportunities for kabaddi players have grown as just 96 players were drafted in the inaugural 2014 season as compared to the 227 players in Season 7. This included 27 international players from 7 countries across the world!

With seven scintillating seasons, more than 650 enthralling encounters, 6 MVPs and 5 different PKL champions, the Pro Kabaddi League is at the heart of the kabaddi revolution. (PKL Stats)

We at Insidesport will take you through top records held by players and teams ahead of PKL 2021.

He has scored most points by a raider, most raiders across the season, most Super 10s in an edition, most points in a single season and most points in a single raid.
