In the first T20I, India chased down 209 runs. Australia batted first and Steve Smith(52) and Josh Inglis (110) helped the Men in Yellow post a big total on the board. Australia scored 207 runs and India began their run chase on a poor note. Both openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad departed cheaply. But Ishan Kishan and SKY hammered the Aussies to help India chase their biggest total in the shortest format of the game.

The second T20I was much better for India in terms of scoring runs. India batted first and went on to post 235 runs on the board. India’s top three batters all scored respective fifties while SKY, Rinku Singh, and Tilak Varma put in fine cameos to give a perfect finish. Ravi Bishnoi and Prasidh Krishna bagged 3 wickets as India clinched a 44-run win.
In the third match of the series, India yet again went on to cross the 200+ run mark. Ruturaj Gaikwad slammed 123 runs unbeaten to help India post a mammoth total of 222 runs. SKY and Tilak Varma scored runs to help the Men in Blue achieve a rare feat.
