WWE: The 2023 WWE Draft that took place on the April 28, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown and the May 1, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw makes no sense in real life. This is because the WWE Superstars who were drafted exclusively to one brand are appearing on other brands. For instance, Paul Heyman who was drafted to SmackDown following the WWE Draft 2023, was recently seen in several episodes of Monday Night Raw. Also, Dana Brooke who was drafted to Raw recently made a surprise appearance on WWE NXT. Follow the latest WWE News Updates with InsideSport.IN

Why Does WWE Draft 2023 Make No Sense?

The 2023 WWE Draft promised that WWE Superstars once drafted to a brand will be exclusive to that brand. However, that didn’t happen, since, WWE superstars who were drafted to Monday Night Raw were seen in Friday Night SmackDown and vice versa.

Also, WWE Superstar Natalya recently stated that though she was drafted to WWE Raw, she might be seen wrestling on WWE SmackDown. Apart from that, WWE had some NXT call-ups during the 2023 Draft. Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre, who are the current NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were drafted to WWE SmackDown during the draft. However, later it has been reported that the duo of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn might defend their championship title across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

Also, several WWE Superstars were left undrafted following the 2023 WWE Draft. These Superstars were then announced as free agents, which gave them the right to appear on any brand at their will. Thus, messing up the roster even more. Meanwhile, WWE Superstars who were drafted to be exclusive to one brand, are now seen in other brands too. For instance, Dana Brooke, who was drafted to WWE Raw, recently appeared on WWE NXT.

Dana Brooke Appears on NXT

WWE Raw Superstar Dana Brooke recently returned to WWE NXT.

The WWE Superstar was seen on the latest episode of NXT and stated that the reason for her return to the developmental brand is to participate in the number one contender’s Battle Royal for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Thus, all these points make it clear that WWE Draft 2023 makes no sense at all.
