WWE Summerslam Preview- Edge likely to main event the Summerslam: After a miraculous win in the Royal Rumble match earlier this year, Edge had his sight set on the Universal Champion Roman Reigns until Daniel Bryan came into the picture and made the main event of Wrestlemania 37 a triple-threat affair. Ever since then, Edge has not been seen on WWE TV.

The Hall of Famer signed a limited period deal with the company where he is scheduled to appear on WWE TV at least 5-times in a year. Edge is televised to appear on the July 16 episode of WWE Smackdown that will take place at The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. But there are words that the Hall of Famer will be in action at the Summerslam PPV.
WWE wants to make Summerslam the biggest PPV this year
WWE Summerslam: We all know how desperately WWE is willing to make Summerslam the biggest PPV event of the year, and having Edge on the biggest show of the summer is definitely the right foot forward.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter has noted that Edge’s return to WWE Smackdown seems to have lined up with a potential match at Summerslam PPV.

Edge is due for an obligated appearance after Wrestlemania 37. For someone of the caliber of Edge, a match at Summerslam should be there. Also, it seems like he has some unfinished business with Roman Reigns. He always wanted to go one-on-one against the Tribal Chief, and a match between the two titans seems to happen at a later stage. As of now, it remains interesting to see what feud Edge gets booked on his return on July 16 on the Blue brand.
