WWE Summerslam: WWE management is planning something ‘Big’ for the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar, and that is why they don’t want him to get involved in Summerslam this year.
Lesnar, along with some other returning stars, was booked for something quintessential at WWE Summerslam. However, the plan as of now is to save him for a big match against Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at some stage.
What about Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar?
WWE Summerslam: There have been many storylines in plans for the Beast Incarnate. Lesnar is currently saved for a feud against Reigns, but Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar still remains a dream match.
According to Dave Meltzer, Lesnar vs. Lashley was in plans for Summerslam this year, but WWE has dropped the idea for now. He also revealed that bringing Lesnar back will be a decision that depends on WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, and a match with Lashley can happen anytime in the future.
Many WWE sources don’t want Lesnar back until Reigns is ready to feud with him!
WWE Summerslam: After dropping the prestigious WWE Title to Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 36, Lesnar has not been seen on WWE TV. His contract expired last year in August, and since then, he hasn’t signed a new contract with WWE.
As far as his feud with Roman Reigns is concerned, many forces in WWE don’t want Lesnar to return until Reigns is free and ready to feud with him.- This is because they think Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar is a Wrestlemania or Summerslam kind of match. These two stalwarts will collide at a certain stage in the future, and it would be interesting to see when Vince McMahon & Co. gives the green signal. Stay tuned for further news on Brock Lesnar and his return.
