WWE Superstar Zelina Vega is currently playing a very important role in the organization. She is the current manager of the faction Legado Del Fantasma on SmackDown. Speaking on the “That’s Dope” podcast, Vega professed that she has earned the trust of the bosses as far as cutting promos is concerned. She also revealed that she has the freedom to fill in the meat provided she stays in her character.
“When it comes to me because they’ve [Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and Stephanie McMahon] known me for a while, it’s like, ‘Hey we can already trust you on the microphone you’re not gonna say anything that’s gonna get us in trouble. WWE SmackDown: Zelina Vega comments on working in a WWE taping
Vega is well-known to WWE fans as Queen Zelina as she defeated Doudrop in the finals of the Queen’s Crown tournament in 2021. It is safe to say that she knows what goes on in a WWE taping.
In the same interview, the 31-year-old highlighted the importance of the little things instructed before a certain match.
“Usually you know going into it who’s gonna win. When you get into the building, you’re gonna have a match with so and so. You’re gonna win. And if it plays into a certain story, there’s always like little things that they’ll tell you like, ‘Oh you have to make sure you do this’ or, ‘You have to make sure you hit this mark.” (H/T: EWrestlingNews)
