WWE Smackdown: Three weeks in a row on WWE Smackdown, the Rated-R Superstar Edge has humiliated and made a mockery of Roman Reigns and his cousins Jimmy & Jey, The Usos. After grappling Reigns with the steel chair pole crippler cross-face at Wrestlemania 37, Edge ensured that his cousins Jimmy & Jey do not feel left out. Therefore, he applied the same intimidating grappling move on the twin brothers this past week.

The go-home Money in the Bank episode of WWE Smackdown is scheduled for July 16 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. This edition of WWE Smackdown will mark the return of live audiences (Barring Wrestlemania 37) for the first time since April 2020. Therefore, to make the event grand, a six-man tag-team main event match is announced. The Universal Champion Roman Reigns will team up with his cousins Jimmy & Jey Uso to take on The Mysterio’s (Rey and Dominik) & Edge.

WWE Smackdown: Edge and Rey Mysterio to team up after 12 long-years

Edge and Rey Mysterio are two veterans of WWE. The former World Champions have had one of the most promising careers in WWE and have been tag-team champions together. Rey and Dominik made a shocking return to the Blue brand last week when they attacked Jimmy & Jey Uso in unison to help the Rated-R Superstar Edge beat the hell out of Roman Reigns.

On July 16, they will team up again after almost 12 years alongside Dominik Mysterio to finish what they started against Roman Reigns’ bloodline. This six-man tag-team match was announced on Talking Smack, following the past week’s WWE Smackdown. Below are the other bouts announced for July 16 Smackdown.
