WWE Smackdown: Bianca Belair held the Blue brand’s Women’s Championship for 130+ days
Bianca Belair etched her name in the history books by main eventing night 1 of Wrestlemania 37 alongside Sasha Banks at the Raymond James Stadium earlier this year, in April.
It was the first time when two black ladies competed in the main event of Wrestlemania. Bianca defeated Sasha Banks in what turned out to be a memorable bout to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion for the first time in her career and changed the landscape of the women’s division on the Blue brand.
She held the title with utmost prestige and pride until losing it to Becky Lynch last month at the WWE Summerslam PPV event. Bianca Belair never saw Beck Lynch coming and challenging her for the championship as it all happened in a whisker of a minute as she lost the title in under 26 seconds.
