WWE Rumors & News: WWE is reportedly looking for more releases in the coming weeks. After releasing as many as six superstars earlier this month, the company is looking forward to more releases. According to Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast, there are more releases on the way as the company is looking to cut back on contracts.
WWE released six superstars earlier this month
WWE Rumors & News: In their latest round of release, the company parted ways with six superstars i.e., Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Santana Garrett, Ruby Riott, Buddy Murphy, and Lana. The reason behind these releases was budget cuts.
Zarian mentioned that there are many people within the company who believe that WWE never intends on fully releasing some wrestlers. These people believe that some cuts are nothing but a contract move so that the released players re-negotiate the deals at some stage.
WWE may not be doing the business officially by releasing many big names like this. People within the company are said to be unhappy with the possibility of terminating contracts in the middle of a wrestler’s deal to re-negotiate and give a particular talent less or fewer money.
Since April 2020, WWE has released more than 35 employees!
