WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Superstars who are rumored to appear at the PPV- The rumor mill has been buzzing with each passing day as we are nearing the Royal Rumble PPV event set for Saturday, January 29 (Sunday in India).
22 entrants for men’s and 21 entrants for the women’s Royal Rumble match have been announced already, but still, there are rumors of some legends who could be at The Dome during the Royal Rumble PPV event. Below are the three names that are heavily rumored for the show. Let’s take a look.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Kurt Angle
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, who served as a General Manager of Raw in his last WWE stint, is scheduled to be in St. Louis this weekend. Angle was released by the company last year owing to budget cuts, but as per Fightful Select, he is expected to be at The Dome for Royal Rumble.

It was noted that WWE had discussed a return of Angle for an on-screen role, but there’s no robust news on whether he will be entering the 30-man Royal Rumble this Saturday night.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Shane McMahon
Several reports are suggesting that former Smackdown General Manager Shane McMahon is expected to return at the Royal Rumble PPV event. Shane has been away from WWE for almost a year.

However, according to Ringside News, the former Smackdown GM is scheduled as a surprise entrant in the 30-man Royal Rumble match. It would be interesting to see what Shane brings t the table if he enters the rumble.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Ronda Rousey
A few days back, we reported that Ronda Rousey could be on her way to a WWE return, and there are rumors of her entering the 30-woman Royal Rumble match. Now WrestlingNews.co has revealed that she is not expected to be at the WWE hotel a day before the PPV event.

This could only mean that if she is going to be at the Royal Rumble, then she will be flown in on the day of the event, i.e., Saturday, January 29. WWE might keep this as a surprise as they typically do for the big names in the industry.
