WWE RAW results: After months of coming up on the wrong side in matches with Seth Rollins, the Mysterio family scored a huge win at Sunday’s Payback pay-per-view when Rey and Dominik scored a win over Rollins and Murphy in tag action. Now, Rey will have his chance to score a singles victory over the man who twice nearly blinded him.

Not only will a singles victory for Mysterio provide some retribution, but it would also place the legend one step closer to challenging for the WWE championship. Just before Raw was set to air, it was announced that the Mysterio-Rollins match will serve as one of three singles contests on Monday night, with the winners set to square off in a triple threat bout later in the night for the right to challenge WWE champion Drew McIntyre.

Below is a complete preview of tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw results and grade: In-Ring Segment: Randy Orton

Orton says Drew McIntyre offered him a title shot out of pitty. Orton kicks McIntyre three punt kicks for the disrespect McIntyre showed him last Monday. McIntyre thinks he deserves the WWE Championship, but the only thing he deserves is the fractured jaw Orton gave him. McIntyre promised to Claymore his head off. The only person kicking off heads is Orton. Orton shouldn’t have to face anyone to get in a title match but if he has to he’ll destroy everyone in his path.

Orton shows a photo on the ‘Tron of all the people he kicked in the head laying in hospital beds. Orton laughs at his own joke. Keith Lee’s music hits. Lee powerwalks down to the ring. Lee says Orton is doing his best to forget about what happened at Payback last night. Lee gave Orton no choice but to bask in his glory. Lee says the fact that he beat Orton should mean he gets a title shot. Lee tells Orton that at some point McIntyre will make good on his promise to take out Orton. Dolph Ziggler attacks Lee from behind. Ziggler DDTs Lee.

WWE RAW results and grade: Keith Lee Def. Dolph Ziggler (Winner Advances to the Triple Threat Number One Contender’s Match)

Ziggler tries to shoot in on Lee but Lee puts on the breaks. Lee traps Ziggler in a Greco Roman knuckle lock. Lee lifts Ziggler up by his arm. Lee tosses Ziggler into the turnbuckle. Ziggler rolls out of the ring. Ziggler hits a neck breaker. Lee kicks out with authority. Ziggler takes Lee down and locks in a modified chin lock. Lee gets to his feet. Ziggler dropkicks Lee. Ziggler hits the ropes and gets pounced out of his boots by Lee. After the break, Lee blasts Ziggler with the grizzly magnum.

Corner splash by Lee. Ziggler goes after Lee’s eyes. Ziggler lands the fameasser. Lee kicks out. Heartattack elbow drop by Ziggler. Lee kicks out again. Ziggler goes back to the rear chin lock. Lee gets to his feet with Ziggler on his back. Lee swings Ziggler off his back. Lee lands a few strikes followed by a flapjack. Spinning powerslam by Lee. Ziggler surprises Lee with the Zig Zag. Lee counters Ziggler’s Superkick with the Spirit Bomb for the win.

WWE Raw results and grade: In-Ring Segment: Asuka

Charly asks Asuka who she thinks should be her next challenger. Asuka says she has beaten everyone. No one is ready for Asuka, but Asuka is ready for anything. Mickie James interrupts. James puts over Asuka as one of the greatest champions of all time. James says out of respect, she wants Asuka to know she is coming for the RAW Women’s Championship. Lana and Natalya walk down to the ring. Natty says James is selfish. Lana makes fun of James’ gear. Lana says if James’ wants to get to Natty she has to go through her first. Asuka says she is ready for ALL OF THEM. Lana and Natty attack. Asuka and James clear the ring.

(Grade C)

WWE RAW results and grade: Mickie James Def. Lana w/Natalya

Asuka is on commentary. After a distraction from Natty, Lana takes control of James. Suplex by Lana. James kicks out. Lana slams James down by her hair. Lana slaps James. James slaps Lana. Thez press by James. James follows that up with two clotheslines. James sets up the MickDT. Lana escapes. James hits the Chick Kick for the win.

After the match, James and Asuka jaw at each other.

WWE Raw results and grade: In-Ring Segment: The IIconics

Kay says they bonded over their love of WWE when they were teens. Royce says they are not going to let Morgan and Riott get in the way of them winning back their tag team titles back.

WWE Raw results and grade: Randy Orton Def. Kevin Owens (Winner Advances to the Triple Threat Number One Contender’s Match)

As Orton is making his way to the ring, Aleister Black attacks Owens from behind. Black destroys Owens with Black Mass. Black rolls Orton into the ring. The referee asks Owens if he can go. Owens says yes. Orton RKOs Owens for the win.

(Grade C-) 

WWE Raw results and grade: Dominik Mysterio will be taking his father’s place in the number one contender’s qualifier match.

Backstage, Mysterio is with his entire family. Mysterio says he would love nothing more than to get closure against Rollins tonight. Unfortunately due to injury, it’s not possible. Mysterio couldn’t think of a better person to take his place. Dominik says his confidence is at a high after the win last night. Dominik has a 619 with Rollins’ name on it.

WWE Raw results and grade:The Viking Raider and Cedric Alexander Def. The Hurt Business

Erik and Ivar double team Benjamin. Erik destroys Benjamin with a flash knee strike. Alexander tags in and works over Benjamin in the corner. Erik tags in and hits another knee strike. Erik walks into a spinebuster by Benjamin. Benjamin tags in MVP as Erik tags in Alexander.

MVP flapjacks Alexander. MVP gets a series of one count after a leaping knee. Alexander gets trapped in the Hurt Business’ corner. The Hurt Business takes turns working over Alexander. Benjamin and Lashley pulls Erik and Ivar off the apron so Alexander can’t tag out. MVP tries to attack Alexander but Alexander rolls up MVP for the win!

(Grade C)

The Riott Squad Def. The IIconics (Winner Gets a Title Shot, The Losing Team Must Disband)

As soon as the bell rings, Kay attacks Riott. Royce tags in and slams Riott’s head onto Kay’s knee. Riott kicks out. Royce puts Riott in a headlock. Riott gets to her feet and fights out of the hold. Royce misses a spin kick. Riott tags in Morgan. Morgan enziguris Royce. Royce kicks out. Royce escapes Morgan’s bodyslam. Royce slams Morgan by her hair. Morgan takes a bullet for Riott. Kay and Royce trade pins. Riott holds Kay down for a three count with a crucifix pin.

Kay and Royce both throw temper tantrums in the ring.

WWE Raw results and grade: In-Ring Segment: Seth Rollins and Murphy

Rollins yells at Murphy for kicking him in the head and getting pinned last night. Rollins tells Muprhy to leave. He will defeat Dominik on his own. Rollins slaps Murphy in the back of the head as he leaves the ring. Dominik attacks Murphy as he is walking up the ramp.

Dominik hits the ring and attacks Rollins. Dominik dropkicks Rollins. Rollins rolls out of the ring. Rollins slams Dominik’s hand on the announce desk. Rollins tosses Dominik back into the ring. Rollins telegraphs a back body drop. Dominik hits a springboard arm drag. Dominik misses the 619. Dominik dives off the announce desk and flattens Rollins with a senton. After the break, Rollins catches Dominik with a sling blade. Rollins locks in a body scissors. Rollins laughs as he slaps Dominik in the back of the head over and over again. Dominik elbows his way out of the hold.

Rollins works a waist lock. Rollins slams Dominik down to the mat. Before Dominik can react, Rollins locks the hold in once again. Dominik escapes and lands a few strikes. Dominik tries the corner ten punches. Rollins counters and almost hits a buckle bomb. Dominik reverses the move into a ranna. Rollins goes headfirst into the turnbuckle. Head scissors into a DDT by Dominik. Dominik lands a standing moonsault for a near fall. Rollins escapes to the outside. Dominik dives off the top and crossbody blocks Rollins. Dominik hits the 619. Dominik misses the Frog Splash. Rollins hits the Stomp for the win.

After the match, Rollins delivers another Stomp. The rest of the Mysterio Family watches in horror backstage.

WWE Raw results and grade: RAW Underground

Titus O’Neil obliterates a guy with a one-armed spinebuster. Another challenger gets on the platform. O’Neil slams that guy and pounds his head into the platform over and over again. The fight is stopped. Riddick Moss steps up. Moss and O’Neil trade takedowns and strikes. O’Neil launches Moss off the platform. Moss kicks O’Neil in the nuts for the win.

WWE Raw results and grade: R-Truth regains the 24/7 Championship by tricking Akira Tozawa in the parking lot. Winner and NEW 24/7 Champion, R-Truth!

Tornado Tag Match: The Street Profits vs Andrade and Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega ( NO WINNER) 

Garza and Andrade attack Ford and Dawkins before the bell rings. Dawkins is thrown out of the ring by Andrade and Garza. Ford goes up top. Andrade and Garza cut Ford off and attempt a superplex. Dawkins intervenes and takes everyone off the top in the tower of doom. After the break, Garza and Andrade are working over Dawkins. Dawkins catches Andrade as he dives off the top for an exploded suplex. Dawkins crushes Garza with his patented spinning corner splash. Garza breaks up the pin.

Demi is at ringside watching the match. Dawkins is out in the tree of woe. Andrade hits a double stomp off the top. Ford breaks up the pin. Everyone hits a big move. Ford floors Andrade with a running blockbuster. The lights flicker. Garza leaves the ring and takes Demi away from ringside. The commentators run away. Retribution attacks Garza, Ford, and Dawkins. Vega is surrounded outside the ring. Vega goes on the offensive but is quickly overcome by the numbers.

WWE Raw results and grade: RAW Underground

Crews and Benjamin match up. Benjamin takes Crews down. Crews almost lock in a double wrist lock. Crews and Benjamin fall off the platform. The Hurt Business brawls with Ricochet, Alexander, and Crews. The Hurt Business leaves Crews and Co laying.

Backstage, Garza is trying to take Demi out of the arena. Demi says Garza abandoned everyone. Garza says he only cares about Demi’s safety. Retribution burst through the arena doors, beating down a security guard. Garza runs away and leaves Demi to fend for herself. Demi runs away.

(Grade C)

WWE Raw results and grade: Number One Contender’s Triple Threat Match: Randy Orton Def. Keith Lee and  Seth Rollins

Rollins and Orton are about to gang up on Lee. Orton rolls out of the ring. Orton says Rollins got this. Rollins goes nuts. Rollins rolls out and says Orton said they would work Lee together. Orton says Rollins can handle it. Lee grabs Rollins by the head and pulls him back into the ring. Lee sends Rollins into the corner. Orton grabs Lee from behind. Leee sends both Orton and Rollins into the corner. Lee charges in but Orton and Rollins both back body drop him out to the apron. Lee lands on his feet. Lee slingshots himself back into the ring with a crossbody that flattens Rollins and Orton. After the break, Rollins hits a knee off the apron to Lee. Orton suplexes Lee on the announce desk. Rollins and Orton send Lee into the ring steps.

Orton and Rollins bring Lee back into the ring. As Orton gets in the ring. Orton kicks Rollins in the chest, then hits the hangman’s DDT. Rollins kicks out. Orton calls for the RKO. Rollins reverses it into a falcon arrow. Orton kicks out. Lee gets back in the ring and throws Rollins into Orton. Orton and Rollins try to run away. Lee pounces Orton from one barricade to the other. Rollins tries a dive but Lee blocks it and launches Rollins over the announce desk. Lee brings Rollins back in the ring. Rollins hits a basement superkick. Rollins calls for The Stomp. Lee reverses it into the Spirit Bomb. Orton RKOs Lee. Orton pins Rollins for the win.
