WWE Raw: Sunday, July 18, was the last time we saw WWE Raw Superstar Kofi Kingston in action. Since then, he made only one appearance a week ago from Summerslam on Monday Night Raw in a backstage segment involving the Miz & Morrison. Since the Money in the Bank PPV, where he got squashed and smashed by the All-Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, Kofi Kingston is yet to compete on WWE TV. Now, it has been revealed that the New Day member is medically uncleared to compete.

As per PWInsider latest report, Kofi Kingston is medically unfit and not cleared to compete. He was previously scheduled to appear in the Pure Life Water segment on Summerslam along with Xavier Woods, but that didn’t happen. The report states,
“For those asking about Kofi Kingston disappearing from WWE TV and not being part of Summerslam or Raw, PWInsider.com has been told by multiple sources that he is not currently cleared to perform. Kingston was originally slated to be part of the promotional segment pushing the Pure Life Purified Water brand with Xavier, dressed as another member of the NWO, but obviously, that did not happen. He was not on the road this weekend.”

At Summerslam and this week on Raw, Xavier Woods is the only man leading the charge for the New Day. He has been troubling both Miz & Morrison, and this week on WWE Raw, he picked up a win over The Miz.
There is no word out on when we can expect Kofi to compete in the ring.- This is possibly the reason why the creative team has dropped the rumored storyline between Miz & Morrison and the New Day because of the former World Champion’s medical condition.
