WWE Raw: Big E reveals he wanted a match against Goldberg- The reigning WWE Champion Big E, who is currently on Cloud 9 after winning the coveted title for the first time, has broken out on his own. After winning the title, prior to the Extreme Rules PPV on Monday Night Raw, Big E has successfully defended his title against the likes of former World Champions Big E & Drew McIntyre.
Seth Rollins is the next in line to challenge the champ, and the two men will be squaring off sooner rather than later. Big E wants to have a memorable reign as the WWE Champion and wants to defend the title against big names in the company. One of those names is the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, who also happens to be Big E’s childhood hero.

The WWE Champion Big E recently appeared on Sportsnet, where he talked about how he pushed the WWE management to have him fight Goldberg at the Crown Jewel PPV event. However, it didn’t happen. Below is what Big E revealed about the same during the interview,

“We’ve been in a top act in many ways (with the New Day) but there are so many singles matchups out there that are fresh for me. I was trying to make some noise for this Goldberg match at Crown Jewel, but that clearly (didn’t happen). It would have been really full circle. He was my childhood hero and idol, and I’ve spoken effusively about that.”

WWE Raw: Big E wants to rack up more big names in his reign as the WWE Champion
Big E wants to keep hold of the WWE title for a long period of time. For this, he is ready to rack up more big names in the company and romp past them. Next on his schedule is a possible date with the Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Survivor Series PPV on November 21.
