WWE RAW 16th November 2020: 5 big things that can happen this week on Monday Night RAW – Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre Championship match, Undertaker special, Tag Team Championship and more

We are a week removed from Survivor Series, and as we saw on SmackDown with the arrival of Drew McIntyre, the action has intensified heading into the event. WWE RAW should be the site for more invasions, as SmackDown stars show up on the Red brand to assert their brand supremacy.

And invasions are not the only surprises that may happen on WWE RAW this week, because the build to the Royal Rumble and beyond will officially begin after Survivor Series. So, now is the time for WWE to get their audience invested in the product again with a whole bunch of surprises to get people talking.

Here are five surprises that could happen on WWE RAW this week. Feel free to comment on this week’s WWE RAW lineup or any of the surprises mentioned here, dear reader.

#5 Bray Wyatt threatens to take down The Undertaker on WWE RAW

The Undertaker’s ‘Final Farewell’ at Survivor Series 2020 may not be so very final at all, because WWE RAW Superstar Bray Wyatt has been teasing a showdown with The Phenom. And it makes all the sense in the world for The Undertaker, who has been claiming that he’s done for good, to have one final hurrah as he takes on The Fiend at WrestleMania.

In case you saw the 11/19 thing not long ago, it was a reference to the fact that The Undertaker made his debut on 19th November, 30 years ago.
Last night on Raw during an episode of the FireFly Funhouse, Bray Wyatt smashed a clock reading 3:16 which then stuck to 11:19 to which Wyatt replied the clock was “right as rain”.

Could The Fiend threaten the legendary Undertaker this week, or could Alexa Bliss do so on his behalf, during an episode of The Firefly Fun House on WWE RAW? WWE RAW has needed a shot in the arm these past few weeks, and could this be just what we needed?

#4 Roman Reigns invades the Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton WWE RAW main event match

Not a very long time ago, Triple H compared a showdown between Roman Reigns and Randy Orton to one between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan or even a clash between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Based on what happened on SmackDown this week between the two men, it is very likely indeed that Roman Reigns will show up on WWE RAW. And when he appears on WWE RAW, Roman Reigns is likely to cost Drew McIntyre his big title opportunity. It’s pretty much a guarantee at this point.

This may not be the only invasion from SmackDown on WWE RAW because Sasha Banks could come in and confront Asuka and we could actually have a New Day vs. Street Profits face-to-face altercation as well.Maybe the entire SmackDown roster comes down to wreak havoc and disarray on WWE RAW. But the likeliest invasion of the lot is one from Roman Reigns, interfering in the massive WWE Championship clash this week, which is likely to be the main event match.

#3 The Miz cashes in when Randy Orton has been taken down during WWE RAW

The Miz has not been portrayed as a Superstar who’s in the same league as the rest of the men in the WWE RAW Championship picture, losing to Drew McIntyre on consecutive occasions. However, he has been showcased as a sneaky and cunning WWE RAW Superstar, which means that he will look for the perfect opportunity to cash in his contract this week. And when Roman Reigns has taken down Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton, as he is likely to, based on the events that transpired on SmackDown, The Miz could sneak in, cash in his contract, and go on to Survivor Series as the brand new WWE Champion.

It makes no sense to have a failed cash-in from The Miz considering how Otis lost his Money in the Bank contract to him recently and honestly, can you imagine a better opportunity for The Miz to cash in than during a SmackDown invasion, ladies, and gentlemen? WWE RAW’s landscape may change for good this week!

#2 Mandy Rose is replaced in the WWE RAW Survivor Series team by none other than Naomi

Mandy Rose suffered a legitimate injury on last week’s episode of WWE RAW, meaning that she could be replaced in the RAW Women’s Survivor Series team this week. We do not know the extent of her injury yet and it will really be unfortunate if she misses out on such a grand occasion. Thankfully, the WWE RAW Women’s roster is loaded and Naomi could potentially step in.

Why having Naomi as a part of the WWE RAW Survivor Series team is a good idea is because she could go on to have a backstage interaction with someone like Jey Uso or Roman Reigns, considering that they are from the same family, during Survivor Series. Also, she’s Naomi and in terms of pure talent, she would probably be the most gifted athlete in the entire WWE RAW Women’s Survivor Series squad by a huge margin. She could potentially go on and have a showdown with someone like Bianca Belair, setting the seeds for a dream match.

#1 Sami Zayn costs The Hurt Business their big match on WWE RAW this week with his interference

How could Sami Zayn strike the first blow on The Hurt Business this week on WWE RAW without having to physically overcome the numbers of the faction? All he has to do is distract The Hurt Business long enough when they’re on the verge of becoming the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, allowing The New Day to win.

Sure, having The Hurt Business possess the gold may be a good idea, but at the same time, with The Street Profits from SmackDown taking on The New Day from WWE RAW, WWE could play on the whole Big E and Street Profits dynamic as they have on SmackDown thus far.An d so, in a sense, we will see The New Day take on Diet New Day (as per Big E’s recent SmackDown promo) if there’s no title change this week, and considering the awesome build for the contest, this is now a match that we want to see.

The hilarious Big E-Street Profits segments have done much to make this match seem very exciting indeed.
