WWE NXT Next Week: Former NXT and United States Champion Samoa Joe returned to the Black & Gold brand this week. He was one of the employees to face the budget cut release in April after Wrestlemania 37. His return was speculated for the past week or so, and finally, the Samoan submission machine showed up this week on WWE NXT.

Upon his return, it was made clear that Joe will be the special enforcer to general manager William Regal and won’t be eligible for any in-ring action. Also, he won’t lay his hands on anyone until provoked. With Samoa Joe’s return, expect a ridiculous change of events in WWE NXT week after week.
