WWE NXT, 23 June: 3 Big Matches that will take place this week on the black & Gold brand


WWE NXT- 23 June: WWE NXT will be streaming live from the Capitol Wrestling Center this Tuesday (Wednesday in India). With Samoa Joe’s return last week, stakes have gone much higher, and the special enforcer to General Manager William Regal already made his presence felt last week when he caught Adam Cole in a Coquina Clutch.

This week’s event will see three matches spanning out along with the debut of Diamond Mine. Let’s head into the matches and segments announced for this week.

WWE NXT: Kushida vs. Kyle O’Reilly

After defending his Cruiserweight Championship for two weeks in a row, Kushida will face perhaps the toughest challenge of his NXT career so far in the form of Kyle O’Reilly.

O’Reilly has been chasing NXT gold, but every now and then, he meets with a roadblock. The latest roadblock in his path right now is a former friend and a bitter foe Adam Cole against who he will be colliding at the NXT Great American Bash PPV. But before that, he will be facing the high-flying NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida in a one-on-on battle this week.

Just like his opponent for NXT Great American Bash, Adam Cole will be facing someone this week on the Black & Gold brand. However, that ”someone” has not been revealed yet, but the former NXT champion has the privilege to chose his opponent. Could it be Samoa Joe?


WWE NXT: Franky Monet in action

Franky Monet will be in action for the second time on the Black & Gold brand this week. She last appeared in her World Premiere on WWE NXT 12 May episode, and since then, she has been seen backstage but not had a match inside the squared circle. The opponent for her second match will get revealed tomorrow.


WWE NXT: Diamond Mine to debut

Diamond Mine is an MMA-themed vignette that will make its debut tomorrow on the Blac & Gold brand. What WWE has planned for the Diamond Mine and how it will go, no news is out regarding this.
