The night kicked off with the two women’s WarGames teams brawling backstage, whereas, it ended with Bron Breakker colliding against Johnny Gargano in the final match of the night. WWE NXT 2.0 Highlights: Kay Lee Ray won the Women’s WarGames Advantage Ladder Match
Dakota Kai collided against the former NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray in the opening bout of the night. The match had high stakes as the winner would have earned the WarGames advantage for her team on Sunday.

Kay Lee Ray emerged victorious in a brutal ladder match that saw the two ladies going back & forth with their offense to gain an advantage for WarGames. Ray helped herself climb the ladder and grab the briefcase by kicking Kai right on the jaw that knocked her from the upside-down position on the mat.

Tonight we witnessed a #1 contender’s match for the NXT tag-team titles. Von Wagner & kyle O’Reilly defeated Legado Del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde to get the liberty of challenging NXT Tag Team Champions Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner of Imperium at WarGames on December 5.

The match was full of brutal action, and Santos Escobar with Elektra Lopez of Legado del Fantasma was watching the proceedings from the ringside. Kyle & Wagner got together to hit the Total Elimination on Jaoquin Wilde to pin him and win the match.

Team New School member for the men’s WarGames match Bron Breakker, defeated Johnny Gargano in men’s WarGame advantage ladder match by climbing the ladder and clinching the briefcase.

In the closing moments of the match, we saw Gargano and Breakker exchanging trades on the top of the ladder and then Gargano slamming the briefcase into Bron’s face to send him down on the mat. Bron, however, pulls Gargano down, who lands hard and ends up on the floor.- This gave Bron enough time to climb back up the ladder and retrieve the briefcase to win. After the match got over, all the members of Team Old School and Team New School rushed into the ring and started brawling.
