WWE News: The latest piece of WWE news is related to WWE’s touring schedule. According to The Venue’s website, a supershow planned by WWE featuring both WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown Superstars at Gainesville, Florida, has been canceled. The event was all set to take place on August 8 as a part of a four-night Florida run, but as of now, the plan seems to be called off.
WWE News: The Florida run was supposed to kick off with WWE Smackdown
WWE’s Supershow 4-day Florida tour was supposedly scheduled to kick off with WWE Smackdown from August 8 in Tampa, followed by a Supershow in Fort Myers on Saturday for the Gainesville event, and finally Monday Night WWE Raw in Orlando.
The reason for the cancellation of this event has not been out yet & not even the rescheduled date was announced. Earlier WWE announced that they would be touring to the United Kingdom in September for the first time in two years, with as many as four events scheduled in the mid-month.
WWE News: Tonight’s WWE Smackdown embarked WWE’s 25-city tour
Tonight’s Smackdown took place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and it marked the return of live crowds.- This kicked off WWE’s 25-city tour & the fans were thrilled to enjoy WWE action live from the arena.
The 25-city tour will continue this Sunday with WWE Money in the Bank PPV, scheduled at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by WWE Raw in the American Airlines Center in Dallas. After the Money in the Bank PPV, WWE Summerslam will be the next PPV that will take place in front of a live audience on August 21 at the Allegiant Stadium. Stay tuned for more WWE News.
