WWE SmackDown: WWE asks superstars to ‘leave early’ for the 12/30 episode of Friday Night SmackDown

Earlier this week, WWE held a live event in Columbus, Ohio where WWE faced issues in replacing superstars and many superstars from the Raw brand missed the show. Also, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were unable to attend the show. This led WWE to replace Seth Rollins from the scheduled US Title match against Austin Theory.

Recently, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio noted WWE asked its superstars to leave early for the December 30th SmackDown show. Also, there are harsh weather conditions which could make travel hard for the superstars.

“Alvarez stated, “They’ve already been told to start going now for SmackDown, you know when SmackDown is? They were told today that, ‘you migth want to get going now.’”

As noted, WWE experienced a “logistical mess” at the live event in Columbus, Ohio. To avoid further delays for the Friday Night show, WWE stars have already left for Tampa, Florida.
