Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Universe witnessed Karrion Kross ambushing Drew McIntyre in front of the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his cousins The Usos. With Karrion Kross’s return, WWE fans thought WWE would add Karrion Kross in the title picture making the main event a triple threat bout for the Undisputed Universal Title.
However, recent reports claim WWE still wants Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre in the main event of Clash at the Castle. Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio mentioned WWE’s creative direction ahead of Clash at the Castle.
“For Cardiff, it is still Roman and Drew. I was told – of course this can always change – but I was told that it’s really not gonna change. They feel that has to be the match. So as far as when (Kross) gets his shot at Roman Reigns because obviously they’re building to that, I have no idea when that will be.” [H/T WrestleTalk]

Roman Reigns unified the WWE Heavyweight Title and Universal Title at WrestleMania 38 defeating Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All match. WWE fans thought Roman Reigns would represent both the brands and appear frequently on both Raw and SmackDown. However, this never happened.
Instead, the Head of the Table signed a new deal with WWE, which allowed him to appear at lesser house shows and TV appearances. Recently, Dave Meltzer mentioned WWE might add Karrion Kross against Roman Reigns for one of his titles. The report mentioned USA Network wants one title on the red brand which might be the reason WWE would head toward stripping Reigns from one of his titles.
