WWE News: The Undertaker explains why he did not think the Rock would last long in WWE
If there is anyone who could match the success the Rock has achieved in WWE, it would be the Undertaker. While speaking with Gary Vaynerchuk, The Undertaker discussed The Rock’s WWE debut. He admitted that he wasn’t impressed by the Rock and thought that the People’s Champ[ might not make it to the top.
“He came into Madison Square Garden, and they’d given him the name of Rocky Maivia. Oh my gosh, it was awful. I mean, they handcuffed him right out of the get go, right? I remember watching him, and the Garden [fans], they’re merciless if they don’t like what you’re doing. And man, they just lit him up. I had no clue to how charismatic he was. I was like, ‘Such a shame, he’s not gonna be here long. Once he got to The Nation of Domination, it had completely flipped. By the time he was at the end of his run with them, I was like, ‘He’s not gonna be here long.’ You could just tell that he was destined [to move on to better things].” (H/T to Ringside News)

WWE News: The Rock is being planned to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39
Roman Reigns, the current Undisputed WW Universal Champion, has not been pinned for over three years. He has beaten every possible opponent on the roster and now WWE has thought of the Rock who might be an option for the title change. However, the Rock’s appearance at Royal Rumble 2023 and WrestleMania 39 has not been confirmed yet due to the Rock’s busy schedule.
