WWE News: Shawn Michaels predicts former Tag Team Champion to enter the WWE Hall of Fame
WWE dropped a special video for Shelton Benjamin earlier today to celebrate the 47-year-old’s twenty years with the company. In the video, Shawn Michaels noted that he clearly remembers Benjamin’s initial days in the company. He also predicted that the 3-time Intercontinental Champion is sure to enter the WWE Hall of Fame.
“Shelton, I mean, I can remember him coming in the door and it doesn’t seem that long ago. Now it’s 20 years. “From the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, I just want to say congratulations. And we will keep a spot warm for you in the Hall of Fame, my man. Because that’s a guaranteed deal whenever it is you’re ready to put up the boots. Congratulations.” (H/T – SK Wrestling)

The Heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels and Shelton Benjamin locked horns on May 2, 2005, on an episode of Monday Night RAW. Michaels emerged as the winner that day as he caught his opponent in mid-air while the latter springboarded off the top rope.
“I feel like one of the best matches of my career, I really feel like what Shelton and I did out there was really cool,” said Shawn Michaels. “It’s a match that people remember to this day, and I’m always so proud of matches that like that, things that people know where they were when they saw that match.” (H/T – SK Wrestling)
