To be thought highly of by him is cool, I do appreciate that a lot.”

Seth Rollins is currently in a feud with Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik Mysterio, and they both will face off each other at SummerSlam in a stipulation” Street Fight” match this Sunday.

John Cena and Seth Rollins rivalry in WWE

Seth Rollins and John Cena faced off each other in one of the historic matches of all time back in 2015 at SummerSlam. Cena and Rollins both were battling for WWE World heavyweight Championship and WWE United States Championship in a winner takes all.

While heading into a match, John Cena was WWE United States Champion and Seth Rollins was WWE World heavyweight champion. It was nail-biting contest between both these belligerents but somehow it was Rollins who got the victory after SummerSlam special guest John Stewart attacked John Cena with a steel chair.

By winning this match, Seth Rollins would become the first WWE Superstar in history to hold both the WWE Championship and the WWE United States Championship simultaneously.

However, Seth Rollins’ United States Championship reign would be short-lived. John Cena would regain the WWE United States Championship the following month at the Night of Champions pay-per-view as he defeated Seth Rollins with a broken nose.
