WWE News: Saurav Gurjar sent back home as WWE has no future plans for him: It seems like Saurav Gurjar’s WWE journey has abruptly met its roadblock. WWE opened the opportunity for some Indian talents in 2017, and Saurav Gurjar, who many people know as the one who portrayed ‘Bheem’ on the Star Plus show ‘Mahabharat,’ has been sent back to India.

WWE News: Saurav was one of those touted to be a potential main roster recruit!

After showing his impeccable in-ring skills in the WWE tryouts, Saurav got a chance on WWE’s Black & Gold brand, i.e., WWE NXT. He was paired with a fellow Indian wrestler named Rinku Singh. The two formed one of the most dominant stables, named The Indus Sher.

He was almost going to have a promising WWE career given his extraordinary built, but apparently, WWE has sent him back to India, and there are no plans for him as of now. 

WWE News: As per WWE officials, Saurav was not ready for WWE TV!

Soon after the formation of The Indus Sher, the team got disband and subsequently pulled off from WWE NXT TV. WWE officials stated that Gurjar wasn’t ready for WWE TV, but his partner Rinku was. Therefore, Rinku Singh, along with one more fellow Indian wrestler Shanky, got an opportunity to establish a faction alongside the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. 

The trio made their official TV debut last month on WWE Raw, with Rinku getting a new name, i.e., Veer.

WWE News: Kavita Devi was also released by the company

Kavita Devi, India’s first-ever pro-wrestler in WWE was also released last month under WWE’s budget cut cycle. However, talking to The Hindustan Times, she later denied the reports and said that she is still associated with the company and currently working on a new assignment within the company that allows her to be home.
