WWE News: This latest piece of WWE news is regarding Tokyo Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Stevenson, who will be making his presence at WWE Summerslam PPV scheduled for August 21 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Paradise, Nevada. Stevenson made a name for himself by winning Gold in freestyle wrestling in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and he has never shied away from expressing his fandom for WWE.

Gable Stevenson recently had an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso where he revealed that he would be present at WWE Summerslam to watch Roman Reigns successfully defend the Universal Championship against John Cena. Stevenson said,

“I’m heading over to Vegas to watch the champ Roman Reigns do his thing. John Cena is great, but he’s still going to have to acknowledge Roman Reigns.”

WWE News: Will Gable Stevenson join WWE in the future?

Gable Stevenson is an ardent fan and follower of WWE, and this fact is known to one and all. Ever since he won the prestigious Gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics, the rumor mill has erupted, voicing that Stevenson will potentially sign with WWE sooner rather than later. In the interview, Stevenson has emphasized the fact that if he ever joins WWE, he wishes to be a Paul Heyman guy. Below is what Stevenson said,

“If I ever go to WWE, I’d be a ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’ Heyman is a legend. We would be two people doing great things, and that would be a tough team to beat. And I’ve known Brock since I was in high school. He’s been there for me for a long time, making sure I do things the right way and put my best foot forward.”

WWE News: NFL and UFC are also on Gable Stevenson’s radar

Besides WWE, Stevenson also noted in the interview that he has UFC and NFL as the prerogatives. As of now, he wishes to bask in the glory of his Gold Medal win at the Tokyo Olympics and will think thoroughly about his next move.
