Simone Johnson, the daughter of The Rock is finally ready for her big WWE debut. She signed with the company back early in February 2020. She joined the performance to begin her training. Recently, WWE trademarked the name WWE recently trademarked the name Ava Raine with the USPTO half a month ago. Simone Johnson changed her Twitter name to her onscreen name.

WWE NXT 2.0 has been investing a lot to promote women’s wrestling. They will soon start the women’s breakout tournament. Raine could make her debut in that tournament.

Simone Johnson is now another member of the Samoan lineage to join the WWE. Her name was changed to Ava Raine and that hasn’t impressed the fans a lot. It shares no connection to her father or anyone from the family.

Johnson recently took to Twitter to share her thoughts on wrestlers changing their names. She didn’t understand why it was a big deal for people to not take their family name.

Johnson not taking her family name should not be a problem. There are various examples from her family. Her cousins are the likes of Roman Reigns, The Uso’s, Nia Jax, and Rikishi haven’t taken their family name and yet become superstars. The most recent example is the Uso’s younger brother Solo Sikoa hasn’t taken the family name.
