WWE Money in the Bank 2022: Former Champions Qualify themselves for MITB, SmackDown Superstar defeats Raw Superstar to qualify for MITB
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Official Adam Pearce overruled his decision to include Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in the MITB ladder match. However, he put forth a condition for both men to compete against The Usos in order to qualify for the MITB ladder match officially.
Later, in the main event of Friday Night SmackDown, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus joined forces to take down The Usos. Although both men struggled to keep their communication during the match, they successfully defeated The Usos qualifying themselves for the MITB ladder match.

On the other hand, another superstar from SmackDown made himself eligible for the MITB ladder match. Former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn qualified himself for the MITB after defeating Shinsuke Nakamura with a Heluva kick to pin him.

In the women’s division, Shotzi faced Tamina after WWE withdrew Aliyah from the qualifying match after suffering an injury. Shotzi defeated Tamina to qualify herself for the MITB ladder match.
WWE Money in the Bank 2022: Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vow to Cash-in the MITB contract at SummerSlam
At SummerSlam, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed Universal Title against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match. However, whoever wins the match will have to face the MITB winner, who would cash in the MITB briefcase.
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and the Celtic Warrior Sheamus vowed to cash in the MITB briefcase on either Roman Reigns or Sheamus. Although there are other five men in the match to win the MITB contract, McIntyre and Sheamus revealed their plans.
